Founder

With over 20 years of software design and network engineering experience, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge to help solve any of your internet, network, website or application problems!

Michael Adam founded InnovAlda to bring accessible technologies to the valley and beyond.

Michael was born into a military family and moved around during the early part of his life, settling in Fresno, CA in elementary school.  He remained in the area, joining the initial FIRST LEGO League team in the Central Valley in 2002.  This sparked his passion for engineering and he continued with FIRST at his high school with Buchanan Bird Brains FIRST Robotics Competition Team 1671. His participation in FIRST led to a full scholarship at Fresno State in Computer Engineering, which he graduated as Dean’s Medalist in 2013.

Right after high school, Michael was asked to lead Central Valley Robotics (CVR), becoming the FIRST Program Delivery Partner for FIRST LEGO League in Central California.  As the Executive Director, Michael spent over a decade leading the organization to over 100 teams, a brand new qualification event model, and brand new technological systems.

During his time at CVR, Michael started work in 2012 on what would eventually become Lumieos, InnovAlda’s region management platform.  He found that he could use his skills in software development to design a system to simplify not only his job, but improve the experience of teams and volunteers that participate in the programs.

Michael has also worked as a consultant for many software companies, from school districts, to convention websites, to embedded systems. He brings over 20 years of software experience across multiple languages and platforms.  Additionally, he has experience in network management and deployment of internet solutions.
